The season is fast approaching, now is the time to begin your conditioning and ball mastery work.
The following fitness and skills levels are a good standard for players to work towards in preparation for the season. The standards below are meant to be an encouragement to assist players in preparation for the season. Team selection is not based on the following Standards.

If you have already achieved the levels listed below, work towards beating your personal bests in each area.
Varsity Level Standards
Fitness
Running
40 Yard Dash – 6 Seconds
100 Meters – 15 Seconds
200 Meters – 35 Seconds
¼ Mile Run – 1 Minutes 20 Seconds
½ Mile Run – 2 minutes 50 Seconds
1 Mile Run – 6 Minutes 15 Seconds
2 Mile Run – 12 minutes 30 Seconds
Strength
50 pushups without a break
50 Sit-ups without a break
50 Body weight squats without a break
Straight Plank – 2 Minutes
Pull ups – 10
Ball Skills
150 Juggles with feet only
Ability to dribble through cones using either foot with proficiency
Ability to trap the ball with both feet using the inside or outside of the foot
Ability to trap the ball out of the air with feet, quads, and chest
Ability to strike the ball with the head while in the air and on the ground
Ability to make strong passes and shots with both feet using the inside, outside and laces of the shoe
JV Level Standards
